This garden project was a nice transformation for green and ground. As you can see from the "before" images, the area was unusable and the rear fencing had blown down in strong winds leaving the rear of the property exposed to a school and the main alley leading to the school ! The client already had a layout in mind which we worked with when creating this design, one of the key factors for us was to maximise shed space in an awkward area, this was another one of green and grounds custom shed builds, with the shed being 6 inches wider at the rear.
Creating a step to divide the areas also allowed us to level the patio and lawn to a more practical fall, two small squares against the garage were also filled with nutrient rich soil for the client to plant climbers to cover the brickwork. Luckily for us the owners were wildlife friendly too! Which enabled us to leave the small pond in the corner and also install a hedgehog gravel board into a known hedgehog passage !
